Wildfire Prevention

Wildfires are unplanned fires that burn in a natural area such as a field or a forest.  The greatest danger of wildfires in Pennsylvania occurs during the spring months of March, April, and May, and the autumn months of October and November.  In Pennsylvania, 99% of all wildfires are caused by people.  Click the wildfire link above to learn how to prevent wildfires.

As our township grows, there is more than adequate space for growth as well as ample opportunities for new businesses. Our Planning Committee helps to maintain orderly development in our Township to preserve the heritage, safety, and beauty of our community.

Southampton Township is governed by a Board of Supervisors and consists of three (3) elected officials, each serving a six (6) year term. The Board of Supervisors is charged with the general government of the Township to secure the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens.
