Notice of Postponement of Public Hearing for Zoning Amendment
The Southampton Township Board of Supervisors is postponing the public hearing (ZA#25002) scheduled Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Southampton Township Community Center 56 Cleversburg Road, Shippensburg, PA. The property owners, William and Cheryl Collingsworth, at 54 Airport Road, Shippensburg Pa. 17257, have requested an extension of the public hearing scheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, to afford the Supervisors the opportunity to examine the overlay for the data centers. The Township Supervisors approved the extension request. The hearing will be scheduled at a later date.

Southampton Township is governed by a Board of Supervisors and consists of three (3) elected officials, each serving a six (6) year term. The Board of Supervisors is charged with the general government of the Township to secure the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens.
