Seeking Volunteers: Township Planning Commission

Southampton Township is pleased to announce that it is considering the establishment of a five-member Planning Commission. The Township Board of Supervisors is currently seeking motivated, civic-minded residents to fill these five inaugural positions.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our community. The Planning Commission will play a vital role in reviewing land development plans, advising on zoning ordinances, and assisting in the long-term vision for the Township’s growth and preservation.

How to Apply

Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume and a brief cover letter outlining their interest and any relevant experience (e.g., land use, architecture, law, engineering, or a general desire to serve the community).

As our township grows, there is more than adequate space for growth as well as ample opportunities for new businesses. Our Planning Committee helps to maintain orderly development in our Township to preserve the heritage, safety, and beauty of our community.

Southampton Township is governed by a Board of Supervisors and consists of three (3) elected officials, each serving a six (6) year term. The Board of Supervisors is charged with the general government of the Township to secure the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens.
